Testimonials

"I couldn't put the book down!  This book is life changing for me. Marvin is a gifted writer and takes you on a hero's journey into the depths of despair and raises you back up into the glories of hope.  Both my grandpa and dad have had strokes and I watched helplessly as they both suffered in their own unique yet similar ways. I wish this book was out there years ago spreading awareness and hope for both stroke victims and the caretakers to have more understanding and compassion during the healing process. There's so much wisdom in this book that it also serves as a preventative aspect that I find valuable.  I myself have experienced Todd's Paralysis which mimics strokes so reading about Marvin's experiences has given me the feeling of being 'heard' - someone I can relate to and some of my experiences are finally given a voice.  Thank you Marvin for sharing relentless vigilance to heal yourself with me and the world!" Hi Marvin, I’m a stroke survivor and even though my journey was different from yours it did help me remember the strides I have made in my recovery and the gratitude I owe my wife and family for their support . Thanks for sharing your story, faith and outlook on life. Dennis B.

I like it. Thanks for making me cry this afternoon. Thank you for sharing it with me, I signed up with my email. Andre L.

I think the book is great. It’s informative and relatable. I like how you explain the medical terms and different scenarios like what the blood pressure numbers indicate. It’s something practical that can educate people who may not be making their health a priority. Over the past couple years, I’ve been paying closer attention to things like cholesterol numbers and paying attention to diet and exercise so I found these first chapters to be personally relevant. I am not sure if anyone will trust a review from a wife; but here it is. My husband did have a stroke and is still suffering from the after effects. However, he is very serious about helping others to not get a stroke by watching their blood pressure and/or helping them get through the days/months after the stroke.

Life is hard! Life is complicated! Life is messy! But it is your life! So I hope you will read this book and take care of YOU for your loved ones. It is written with YOU in mind and with love from my man. Diane Ray

Workbook/Book
This workbook is dedicated to everyone who has experienced the profound impact of health issues, whether personally or through the heartache of a cherished family member—a mother, grandmother, father, or grandfather. Conditions like high blood pressure and high cholesterol often hide in the shadows, unnoticed until it's too late. If we don’t remain vigilant, we may find ourselves facing these challenges when we least expect them.

May this workbook serve as a beacon of awareness, a heartfelt reminder to treasure our health, and a testament to the strength we draw from one another during the toughest times. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my loving wife, who has stood by me through it all. Honey, I love you more than these words can express—thank you for being my unwavering support!
